Professional Development Conference - Fall 2002

Dr. Tim Best project director for catalystOHIO, a partnership of Universities in Ohio developing technology professional development aligned to ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) teacher technology standards to speak on campus to the Colleges of Education and Arts and Science Faculty and to the Toledo Metropolitan Public and Private School Administrators and to Technology School Coordinators at the University of Toledo.

Dr. Best’s presentation was on “If Technology is the solution, what's the problem?"

Some of the discussion topics were the trends in educational technology; things that are going on in Ohio, and some challenges that we are facing.

The event was sponsored by the US Department of Education "Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to Use Technology" (PT3) Grant. Toledo, Ohio, September 20, 2002.
