Internet has become an important tool for faculty.

Internet Basics. A web browser is needed to access many Internet resources. Microsoft's Internet Explorer is the most popular for web access. However, there are other choices such as Netscape and Safari also. Use the following off-site websites to learn more about using a web browser.

Email. There are many ways for people to access email. Most users get their mail through the web or in a stand-alone software package such as Eudora or Netscape. Microsoft Outlook is a popular tool for email access. Use the following off-site resources to help in accessing Outlook email:

Internet Plugins. In some cases, "plugins" are needed to play sounds, movies, or conduct other operatings in your web browser. Use the following off-site resources to download Internet software:
